Hunting rifles I recommend that hunters bring calibers not smaller than 30-06 for thin skinned animals and .375 for thick skinned and Big Five hunts. Rather bring a rifle that you are comfortable with and usually shoot with. Bows Use the following Categories to determine what you want to bring. This is only an indication. | Broad heads Any good brand name broad heads (min. 1 ¼ inch cutting diameter) that you shoot accurate with will work, but for thick skin animals good strong 2 blades is best. Travel I recommend that hunters try their best to fly to Africa with direct flights from the States. This eliminates a lot of trouble regarding connection flights. Some countries do not like the idea of hunters traveling with their rifles. SCI Please visit www.huntandtravel.com for endorsed trip cancellation program. This is highly recommended by us. Please e-mail us your tips for fellow hunters and travelers
